According to an article in Saturday’s Post and Courier there are 800,000 people in SC that are not registered to vote. Many people simply forget to register when they move from another State or to update their voter information when they move within the State. The process is very simple in South Carolina. You do not register by party in SC so the only thing you must decide at the moment is that YOU WILL VOTE!!
I am attaching a link that will direct you to the mail in voter registration form:CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD & PRINT FORM
The information required is minimal. (but very important)
ID Required: If you are registering for the first time in this county, you must attach a copy of a current valid photo ID or a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck or other government document that shows your name and address in this county. If you do not provide this identification now, you will be required to provide this information when you vote. Voters who are age 65 and over, voters with disabilities, members of the U.S. Uniformed Services or Merchant Marines and their families, and U.S. Citizens residing outside the U.S. are exempt from this requirement.
** Social Security Number is required by the S.C. Code of Laws 7-5-170. This number is used for internal purposes only and eliminates multiple registrations by a single individual. Your Social Security Number is not released to any unauthorized individual.
To be eligible to vote in the November 2nd election you must be register 30 days prior or by October 2nd. If you’re not currently registered where you live please take the time to download, complete the form and mail it in soon.
YOUR VOTE COUNTS!!

Radical Islam is world’s greatest threat – Tony Blair

He made the remark in a BBC interview marking the publication of his memoirs. Mr Blair said radical Islamists believed that whatever was done in the name of their cause was justified – including the use of chemical, biological or nuclear weapons. Mr Blair, who led Britain into war in Afghanistan and Iraq, denied that his own policies had fueled radicalism.
I beg to differ. Not only Blair’s policies but his wife’s career “fueled” Islamic radicalism. Mrs. Blair (a/k/a Booth) has a legal practice described as . . . [S]pecialising in public law, human rights, employment and European Community law, arbitration and mediation.

The huge crowd is now back from a great rally in Washington and quite an impression you surely made. How many are now willing to step up to volunteer to make a real difference?
We have two great Congressional candidates right here in our backyard that would love to have your help. Tim Scott in the 1st District and Jim Pratt in the 6th District are both excellent candidates. I am in the 6th so I will actively be working for Jim Pratt and would welcome your input. Email me at “politicall01@bellsouth.net” for more information. You can and will make a difference once you take that first step.

France’s Muslim population by some estimates is already 10%. This article and video should give us all pause. As the daily prayers of an increasing Muslim population spill illegally into the neighborhood streets, blocking traffic and interfering with other peoples’ lives, the inevitable backlash is beginning, and it may get ugly.

[Best to reposition liquids out of range of striking distance for this one.]
In redecorating the Oval Office, Barack Obama has chosen a carpet with slogans round the edge. One is: “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.” I’ve never quite understood that. Is a long arc good or bad? The source is a speech that Martin Luther King made on August 18, 1967. It was on the text: “Where do we go from here?”
Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) did a memorable skit in which he pondered this question. His immediate follow-on was, approximately, “And what are we going to do once we get there?” How Obamian!
Irma Kurtz in The Great American Bus Ride, her alarming book about travelling by public transport, identifies messages on T-shirts as symptoms of a national neurosis. Now it has got into the White House.
Bwahahahahaha!
Christopher Howse writes this very well done snark (is that a word? It is now) in the Telegraph.
