Gov. Brewer Issues Strong Statement after Judge’s Ruling

Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona hit back hard at the federal government in a strongly-worded statement after a judge granted the Department of Justice a temporary restraining order barring enforcement of the most controversial parts of Arizona’s new anti-illegal immigration law, SB 1070.

In the statement, Brewer speaks of  the “failures of the federal government” and Arizona’s “crisis we did not create and the federal government has actively refused to fix.” She vows to continue the legal fight and also to continue “confronting the fear-mongers, those dealing in hate and lies and economic boycotts that seek to do Arizona harm.”

I'm a news junkie and Clemson alumni (political science, of course) who used to be a technical writer/editor. I was a normal person until Obama the Destroyer came into power; now I'm obsessed with stopping him and the regime, mainly through voter enlightenment.
