Palin Power: Endorsed Senate Primary Candidate in New Hampshire Holds Commanding Lead

New polling data from Democratic pollsters Public Policy Polling has New Hampshire Senate candidate Kelly Ayotte, endorsed by Sarah Palin, up 47-14 over her closest rival in the primary. Ayotte already held the lead before Palin’s endorsement but PPP analyzed the numbers and concluded: “Palin’s endorsement probably didn’t hand Ayotte the lead, which she already had, so much as keep her from seeing the kind of erosion in her support as primary day moved closer that other initial Republican front runners across the country like Charlie Crist, Sue Lowden, Trey Grayson, and Jane Norton have had to deal with and generally without success.”

As much as the Democratic establishment wishes it were otherwise, even their own pollsters are forced to admit Sarah Palin’s endorsements are a help instead of a hindrance.
