First of all, you make the absurd claim that doctors and other professionals in the healthcare field are competing against our dropouts. Even a cursory search would have led you to a site that would have told you doctors move to head of the line in legal immigration as do nurses and shrinks. Therefore they are not illegal. Secondly, the illegals don't merely take the minimum wage jobs. They also take construction jobs. They take driving jobs. I remember the case a few years ago when over 400 illegals were arrested at an Iowa meat packing plant. The plant received over 3,000 applications over the next 2 days for those 400 jobs. Let me also point out that these illegals also have no respect for our laws. They even file income tax forms (which in itself is illegal) and receive refunds from the earned income and dependent child credits. A couple with 4 children can see a tax refund of 10,000 dollars even though they paid no income tax. This is another big draw for illegals to come here. Over 25% of all prisoners in federal prisons are illegal immigrants. In Los Angeles, 95% of some 1,500 outstanding warrants for homicides are for illegal aliens. About 67% of the 17,000 outstanding fugitive felony warrants are for illegal aliens. There are currently over 400,000 unaccounted for illegal alien criminals with outstanding deportation orders. At least one fourth of these are hard core criminals. Illegal aliens commit between 700,000 to 1,289,000 or more crimes per year. They have too much to lose: their success depends too much on perpetuating class warfare and punishing success in order to redistribute wealth to their voting base. That, in Reagan's words, would truly be "Morning in America".
