I didn’t see it either, but I did read the media approved headline, “Oakland couple Susan Poff, Robert Kamin mourned”.
Fact is, one of the occupy Oakland protesters, a 15 year old boy, strangled his parents on Jan 30, 2012, stuffed their bodies in a PT Cruiser and tried to set it on fire. The parents reportedly had argued with the son about him spending too much time at the Occupy Oakland encampment after he had been suspended from school due to absences.
What would “inspire” an otherwise normal 15 year old boy, as described by neighbors but had been spending considerable time hanging out at the Occupy Oakland encampment, to strangle his parents. Possibly other stories about the Oakland Occupy protesters will shed some light. Here are a few observations of things happening now:
- A protester holding a sign that read “Kill your Parents”
- Protesters with signs saying “F*** the police”
- signs, chants and slogans saying “Kill the pigs” (pigs is what the 60’s radicals called police)
- Reports of protesters attacking police, throwing urine on them
- Report of a protester arrested for hitting a policeman in the face with a brick.
Those of us who were in college in the 1960’s recognize these as the same slogans and news stories when mobs of college age kids clashed with police, breaking and burning what they could. We also remember the core agitators were the more violent and radical “Minute Men” and the “Weather Underground”, terrorist groups who killed policemen and bombed numerous places.
Two of the Weather Underground leaders were Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn, who today are college professors and close friends and advisors to our president. In fact, many of the Weather Underground radicals serve today as college professors, presidents of unions, and advisors to our current government. They are also the advisers to the Occupy movement and to the Flotilla movement trying to break the Israeli blockade.
A Bill Ayers’ 1969 quote is “Bring the Revolution home. Kill your parents”.
Best Buds?
You are wise to take the Occupy movement as a serious threat. It is extremely well financed with published sponsors like George Soros and AFL-CIO/SEIU. Most of the full time “volunteers” are paid. Reports confirm former ACORN personnel are organizing the groups and targets and messaging are coordinated with the Obama team. And it is obvious that most of the media are promoting the movement while purposely covering up violence and ugly parts. The referenced “media approved” title and story are examples.
And what is Occupy’s goal? Simple, to reelect Obama. Failing this they will have incited massive civil unrest that the media will make appear as if all of the people have lost all faith in the election and are demanding “somebody” do something. And the Administration will.
