Rep West endorsed Newt for president and now, Romney spokesman, Will Weatherford, is attempting to have West’s district eliminated in the new redistricting plan. The establishment is not bent towards taking prisoners. They are determined to crush every vestige conservatism in the country. Make no mistake, if we allow this to happen in 2012, we will have no future within our own party. This is obviously a warning from the establishment to any conservative that refuses to toe their line.
UPDATE: The establishment backs down (probably with a nudge from Romney whose spokesman authored the plan to eliminate American war hero, Allen West) and West can now run in another district where his chances are great. We have to keep the noise level up and defeat establishment republicans who are as much of a danger to our freedom as Obama is.
That little 4 page document… the Constitution… allows ANYONE that resides ANYWHERE in the state to run for Congress in any district in the STATE… so the founding FATHERS helped West not Mittens.
I never said he did. The state republican party was under fire from local chapters of the Tea Party. Mit5t’s spokesman is the one trying to eliminate West’s district and had not another reep changed districts, there would be no district he could successfully run for. Romney is a lowlife and a Medicare scammer.

Oh please, FL will hopefully now have two great conservatives in Congress – West & Hasner. Too many conspiracy theories out there and they’re all distractions.
You can hide your head in the sand if you wish but less than one week after West endorsed Newt, the redistricting was changed. Why? They have worked on the original plan for 6 months and at the last minute it gets changed. And the person offering the change just happens to be Romney’s spokesman. The establishment has also been angry at West because he votes indepently of them. You may believe in multiple coincidences but I don’t. The democrats did the same thing to Kucinich in Ohio.

Look I don’t trust them any more than you do but Hasner and West each getting to run is a good ending for us. You’re probably right, I shouldn’t trust the rat bastids.
Col West is a personal hero of mine and I was angry. Fortunately the Florida Tea Party got riled and Weatherford backed down quickly. But you are right, the end result is excellant. Keep your eyes out, Chris and I are combining on a project called “The Wizard of the Odd”
Ron Paul will NEVER run a third party candidacy. It would mean doom for his son.
