One of the biggest expenses the government has is corruption. You need look no further than Barack Insane Obama. That got me to thinking. Everyone pays lip service to wanting to cut the budget but no one seems to do it. As usual, I have the answer.
I call it the Anti Corruption Bill of 2012. And this is how my bill works.
Nancy Pelosi put in an earmark for 25 million dollars to improve the port in San Francisco, where her husband owns 5 properties. They made say 1 million in increased property value. Now instead of writing the 25 million dollar check, we just make out a check directly to Pelosi for 1 million dollars and we save 24 million.
Harry “Century 21″ Reid added an earmark for 30 million to build a bridge from his property in Arizona to Vegas. It increase his property value by 1.2 million. We write Harry a 1.2 million dollar check and we save 28.8 million dollars.
Now we start to work on the biggies.
Diane Feinstein gave Richard Blum a series of no bid contracts when she was in charge of MILCON (Military construction) amounting to nearly 4 billion in mostly no bid contracts. She was forced to resign in disgrace but not acrimony. Her husband then sold his shares in 3 defense contractors and pocketed 20 million in profits. So, write a check to Blum for 20 million and put the other 3.98 billion to pay down the debt.
Richard Blum got a contract to sell foreclosed properties for the government (FDIC) from the bad paper they bought from banks. He charged much higher than the going rate. The contract was worth about 500 million and you can assume 1/4 was profit. So we write Blum a check for 125 million and pocket the 375 million difference. The FDIC was then awarded 25 billion from a bill started in the Senate. So that’s another 25 billion we save. By the way, don’t know who Richard Blum is? He’s Mr Diane Feinstein.
Now on to some really big bucks.
Obama and the democrats received 400 million from unions in 2008. Shortly thereafter, they received 46 billion from the Omnibus spending bill, over 200 billion in the 840 billion stimulus spending bill and another 26 billion in the teacher’s bailout bill. You could also add the GM and Chrysler bailouts that produced a windfall for unions but cost taxpayers (estimated) 25 billion. We write a check to the DNC for 400 million (They will be responsible for paying Obama his share of the loot) and we save over 296 billion. Imagine if we were talking about kickbacks like that in construction, RICO prosecutions would follow.
Now I just touched on a few examples, but if we can save 10 billion here and 12 billion there, before you know it we could be talking about some real money.
- Obama got 1 million from Goldman Sachs and repaid them through AIG to the tune of 24 billion.
- Morgan Stanley got a mere 15.5 billion but then they only gave Obama 500 million.
- Google is still waiting for Obama to complete net neutrality but have already paid Obama 800k in 2008.
We save money and the democrats will still get to stuff themselves at the public trough and everyone wins.

That should read, Obama got 500k from Morgan Stanley.
