The Axis of Evil

I only decided to write this in response to Nancy Pelosi’s bid to shuck and jive the American people from presenting their votes to Newt Gingrich. I was immediately skeptical, the moment I read the headline that said “Pelosi: I Know Something.” I mean I put that right up there with “If you make less than 250,000 dollars, you will not see your taxes raised.” (Just before initiating 21 taxes on the poor and middle class including 16 in Obamacare alone)

It might surprise you to learn that for many years I had decided if I ever needed a brain transplant, I wanted Pelosi’s. That’s because even though I never want a transplant, should one become necessary, I wanted one that had never been used before. Of course that was before Debbie Wasserman-Schultz appeared on the scene.

One thing Miss Nancy did get right was when she claimed Bush was wrong to say that Iran, North Korea and Iraq.was the Axis of Evil. He was dead wrong. The true Axis of Evil is Obama, Lugosi and Reid. Er, I mean Pelosi. (I keep mixing up those bloodsuckers) They are far more dangerous to our country and our freedom, than the other three could ever be.

Let me digress. There is an obvious reason why Nancy would come out with this now. You see she went from being irreverant to being irrelevant. That chaps her behind and if Newt were to become president, she would be forced to resign from the house and make a living by shilling for botox and Depends.

Newt being Newt faced it head on like he does everything else and challenged her to put up or shut up. My bet is on neither. The democrats are desperate for Mitt Romney, that follows the lead of John Mccain and Bob Dole. Nice guys who always finish dead last. It’s the democrats best hope.

The key to seeing through liberal tricks like this is to understand liberal thinking. Take evolution for example. Why are democrats so set on trying to convince the world on this issue. Well, I know. If Darwin was right, there is an outside chance that in 30 or 40 million years, their descendants could become human. I have also figured out how conservatives should be waging the war against abortion. We make the mistake of calling them babies. What we should be doing is referring to them as undocumented infants or guest children.

Unlike Nancy, I do know something. I know that the 25 million dollar earmark Miss Nancy got for improving the port area of San Francisco made her husband a ton of money on his five properties there and I know that in her capacity as speaker she could have forced the credit card bill through, but that would have cost her money considering how heavily invested in the Visa IPO she and her husband was. I also know that when she took over as speaker, she got a bill passed that required minimum wage in all US territories with the lone exception of American Somoa. I also know that her largest donor is Del Monte, owner of Star Kist Tuna, with a huge plant in American Samoa. I also know her husband owned a large amount of stock in Del monte. For this many people thought she should be recalled. But I heartily disagree. I think she should be forgotten.

The democrats live in fear of a Newt presidency. Although he has his faults, failure to fight for his beliefs is not one of them. They understand that calling press conferences and unloading their venom will not resonate with him as it has with Dole or Mccain and would with Romney. They also remember the Contract With America. Newt’s word turned out to as good as gold. Democrats are used to politicians who make empty promises and they don’t know how to deal with someone who doesn’t fit that mold.

Newt believes in America and he loves America. And America needs Newt.

…IF WE GET the Newt of the 90′s and the Newt from the debates, THEN we’ll get the changes than HAVE to be made… IF WE GET the arrogant Newt, which we saw just before the Iowa Caucus, then we may still get what’s needed, but we’ll also get “trouble”… STILL, any of the 4 candidates will be better than obama.

Newt is the only one I’d want to be in a foxhole with. Even with his arrogance or more possibly because of it. When you are sure you are right you fight harder.

I do hope this is not your last article. That was brilliant and hilarious. Very well said! I will take our pit-bull-Newt. If the GOP pulls their own form of tyranny and puts in another candidate against the will of the people who want Newt, then this Republican will pull out of the GOP and become an Independant voter. I could care less about the GOOD OL BOY club. We need someone like Newt who isnt going to kiss everyone’s rear. He is just going to “get er done”…Nancy Pelosi is just afraid and Newt won’t put up with her bullying. GO NEWT!

Excellent article, Steve. And where will you be posting in the future? I too am a supporter of Newt

  5. Steve says:

I don’t know if I will be posting anywhere. Thank you very much for the compliment. Remember “Life is like a box of Mitt Romney. You never know what you are gonna get.”

  6. Steve says:

That’s very kind of you to say and I appreciate it. Something I wonder about. What genius decided Miss Nancy’s face isn’t shovel ready?

Yo, Steve! I’ve enjoyed all of your posts and comments—- If you decide to go away, I hope you don’t go away mad.

BTW, no one is censored on this site, AS LONG AS articles (and comments to articles) abide by our Terms of Service (TOS) and Site Rules (see links at bottom of home page). Writers of multiple posts in short time frame (e.g. a single day) shouldn’t expect them all to be posted immediately….site administrators will try to publish all “time sensitive” articles as soon as possible (meeting announcements, for example), but in general, articles will line up in a queue to be published in an orderly fashion, usually over several days, depending on total “article load”. We try to keep the site fresh and interesting for everyone. Anyone that thinks he/she’s been treated unfairly can certainly contact the web master ( chris@charlestonteaparty.org )

On a more general note, most of us that visit this web site are like minded as to both the damaging effects of progressivism and the positive effects that can (and have proved to) be realized if the principles of conservatism are consistently followed. We conservatives have an uphill battle ahead of us, especially this year, and we can’t relent in our efforts to keep educating the public and encouraging them to think and become active in the political process. Our future as a free country depends on it.

So, while the SC primary (thankfully)is behind us— we may not agree on solutions to all of the nation’s issues, and at this time we may not all back the same candidate —- we have to keep up the fight. I hope you’ll consider staying on as one of the conservative warriors!

Like Reagan, Newt is grounded in his beliefs. I believe Ronald Reagan also had a divorce or two under his belt as well. Although Newt is not squeaky clean in same respect, I would like to remind people that we are human. Heaven knows, I’ve made many errors in judgement in my 57 yrs, but, because of those errors, I have become more wise, knowledgeable and full of insight. The young, blind, and naive idealism that I once possessed has now turned into life’s venue of seasoned experience, understanding and knowledge. The passion that I now possess vs. that of my younger years is well-grounded and makes a heck of lot more sense. I am a better person, I am a leader, and a motivator. Experience though errors builds character and develops insight…as I believe it has with Newt.
