Charleston’s first "tea party" took place on December 3, 1773, thirteen days before the more famous one in Boston. Charlestonians called a meeting to decide their course of action, and all present agreed not to purchase tea. Instead of dumping it into the harbor, they unloaded the tea and stored it in the Exchange building. Not every colonist accepted this agreement, particularly many merchants, but the colonists now had an established system for dealing with future problems. They established the General Committee to enforce nonimportation agreements and resolutions in the colony. In July 1774 a ship tried to bring tea into Charleston with similar results.

Arrival at the Liverpool children’s club and debut in the Premier
Steven was a very intelligent soccer player who began to take his first steps in an amateur team from his hometown. Despite his young age, he understood the game’s concepts very well, and at 9 years old, he was signed by the scouts of Liverpool FC, of the Premier League, for the lower categories of the club. He started playing as a striker, but one of his coaches at age 13 decided to delay him to midfield.

The following years Liverpool entered an institutional and sports crisis in which the low performance of their figures, including Gerrard, led to decline. From 2009 to 2013, he did not even go back to qualify for the Champions League. During this time, Steven’s injuries returned, which would keep him out of play for many games each season.
