Cultural Centre
Although Australia is probably best known for its parks and beaches, Perth does house one of its cultural hubs where you can view some of its art exhibits and stroll through one of its feature museums. The Cultural Centre is actually a favorite even among the locals as well, especially thanks to the state library that’s inside.
Shoalwater Marine Park
If you’re someone who enjoys not only looking at the water but getting into it, you must make sure that you stop by the Shoalwater Marine Park. Located in an area just about an hour outside of Perth, you can look forward to hours of snorkeling among seagrass meadows, lost shipwrecks, and even sea lions and dolphins—all free of charge.
Kings Park and Botanical Gardens
Another absolutely amazing place in Perth is Kings Park and Botanical Gardens. As a matter of fact, it’s actually considered to be one of the largest inner-city parks in the entire world. It’s a really great tourist spot because not only are there free walking tours, but within the space, there are also small cafes, playgrounds for children to play, and even areas where you can have a picnic lunch or barbeque your own meals. Being that it’s historically the first park in Australia that was ever designated for public use, it is a favorite among all who go and see it.
Swan Valley
