Outer Banks season 3 release date and cast

If you have come this far, it is obviously because you have loved what the Outer Bank series is about. And it is not for less, since it has a great cast and, above all, an excellent story arc. All this leads us to wonder if there will be Outer Banks season 3 if it finally comes to an end. This action-adventure series that arrived a year ago has captivated many. When is the Outer Banks season 3 release date?

As we all know, the second installment was only released a few days ago, so it is too early to say a release date for Outer season 3. However, and because of how the plot ended in the most recent season (not counting on the success of the series), we may soon have news from Netflix regarding the renewal of the series.

In addition, it is worth mentioning that the showrunners of the series have expressed on several occasions that Outer Banks has been thought of as a 4 or 5 season show, so it is likely that history is what is left over for the deliveries to come.

Season 3 of Outer Banks would then arrive in mid-2022, taking into account that the two previous seasons premiered at similar times. However, the date is tentative and may undergo changes due to the situation with the coronavirus.

What Outer Banks season 2 left us

Season 2 of Outer Banks surprised us with much more adventure, drama and action than the first (although it seems hard to believe). And is that not satisfied with surviving a storm in the middle of the sea in the middle of the night? John B and the Pogues continued their adventure beyond the Outer Banks, more specifically in Nassau. Where in addition to fleeing the law, they faced death against policemen, thieves, flooded sewers, wasps, not very competent doctors (sorry Sarah, we do not understand how you survived that) and even crocodiles.

And once we managed to process all this rain, or rather, the storm of problems, we found ourselves wondering if there would be a 3 season of the Outer Banks.

What will we see in season 3 of Outer Banks

Several were the loose ends that remained at the end of this 2 parts and that most likely will be tied up in the 3 season of Outer Banks.

And we had a heart attack ending with nothing more and nothing less than the surprise revelation that Big John, John B’s father, is still alive. And not just that, but he has also created an alliance with Limbrey. Therefore, it is quite likely that we will see in this new alliance a confrontation against Ward and Rafe, who, at first glance, have everything to lose.

On the other hand is the aforementioned, Sarah’s father, Ward Cameron, who, like Big John, has returned from the dead because he is injured but alive and well. And also, in the company of his psychopathic son Rafe, he seems to want revenge against the Pogues, not to mention that both seem to go to an island. Will it be the same one where John B and his gang are shipwrecked?

Other essential plots that we will probably see unfold in season 3 of Outer Banks will be, will Sarah and John B’s relationship survive? What will the Pogues’ coexistence with Cleo be like as a new member of the gang? What will be the reaction of Sarah when she found out that her father is still alive? And even better, what will be John B’s when he knows that he is too? Why did Big John stay hidden until now? Will something happen between Chloe and Pope? And if so, will this affect Kiara?

Needless to say, the cast has been a complete marvel. We couldn’t like it more. However, there is news that there are new additions to the cast. One of them is Elizabeth Mitchell, who confessed to being very excited about the opportunity.
