Like shows about cooking, shows about fashions and models have become terrifically entertaining and fun to watch. It seems like never before have young fledgling designers never had a better chance to show themselves than by appearing on a reality TV show on how to be the next best thing. One such show is Next in Fashion, a Netflix production that pits designers the world over against each other. The prize they are aiming for is high. They get $250,000 USA Dollars and the chance to show off their looks as part of a top fashion house. Make the most of the show’s one season as they aren’t going to make any more.
In a standard format the designers were given challenges each week and if they failed to come up with something new for the world of fashion they were kicked out. Ads if the world of fashion wasn’t competitive enough. At least you know that you can stay on top of the latest trends if you go to menswear Ireland based company EJ Menswear site.
Each week saw a different theme with a guest judge to come in and have a go at the competitors’ designers, as if having Alexa Chung and Tan France doing it every week wasn’t enough. For example in “Rock” week Beth Ditto was brought in to cast judgement. For Denim week Tommy Hilfiger was wheeled out and there was even a lingerie and underwear theme as early as week 5 to try and pull the viewers in.
